The following are the Part I crimes for the week of July 9–15, 2018.
Duquesne Heights (1911) / Mt. Washington (1903, 1914, 1915, 1807)
Stolen vehicle – Volk Rd. & Kearsarge St. – Between July 7 at 11:55 p.m. and July 8 at 11:30 a.m. – Victim reported a gray Nissan Sentra was stolen. However, the victim had forgotten where it was parked. Later, the vehicle was found.
Theft from vehicle – 100 block Prospect St. – Between July 6 at 7 p.m. and July 9 at 8:15 a.m. – Victim reported a briefcase, HP laptop, jetpack, sunglasses, paperwork, and coins were stolen. Loss: over $155.
Theft from vehicle – 200 block Bertha St. – Between July 8 at 9 p.m. and July 9 at 7:45 a.m. – Victim reported her Louis Vuitton book bag, MacBook, and clothing were stolen after the rear passenger window was broken. Loss: $2,700.
Theft – 100 block Merrimac St. – Between July 10 at 5 p.m. and July 11 at 7:30 a.m. – Victim reported a known person had not returned construction-style equipment. Loss: unknown.
Theft from vehicle – 300 block Belonda St. – Between July 4 at 2:15 p.m. and July 5 at 10 a.m. – Victim reported her wallet and contents were stolen. Loss: unknown.
Theft – 100 block Pasadena St. – Between July 1 at 1 p.m. and July 2 at 4:30 p.m. – Victim hired a contractor who stole a MacBook Pro, garden hose, and DeWalt 12-inch saw. Loss: $4,243.95.
Burglary – 400 block Ruxton St. – July 14 between 8 a.m. and 11:50 p.m. – Victim arrived home and found broken glass. A Series 3 Apple Watch had been stolen. Loss: $400.
Theft – 200 block Boggs Ave. – Between Jan. 1 at midnight and July 7 at 9 a.m. – Victim reported turquoise jewelry stolen. Loss: $1,000.
South Shore (1921)
Theft – 100 block Station Square Dr. E. – Between July 3 at noon and July 4 at noon – Victim reported a silver Cannondale bicycle was stolen. Loss: unknown.
Bon Air (1806) / South Side Slopes (1706, 1608)
Theft – 100 block Pius St. – Between March 14 at 7 a.m. and June 27 at 11 p.m. – Victim reported her leather wallet stolen. Loss: unknown.
Theft – 2300 block Eccles St. – Between July 9 and July 12 – Victim reported packages were stolen. Loss: unknown.
Theft – Brosville St. & Pius St. – Between July 9 at 6 p.m. and July 12 at 10:50 p.m. – Victim reported a dog jumped from his vehicle and was taken but not returned.
South Side Flats (1609, 1702)
Theft – 1100 block E. Carson St. – Between July 7 at 7 p.m. and July 8 at midnight – Victim reported wallet stolen off a bar and unauthorized transactions made. Loss: over $15.
Robbery – 1100 block E. Carson St. – July 10 at 12:25 a.m. – Victim reported a man stole her wallet and punched her during pursuit. Loss: over $30.
Stolen vehicle – Jane St. & S. 26th St. – July 11 at 8:15 p.m. – Victim reported a blue 2015 Chevrolet Malibu (PA plate JVE 3913) stolen.
Theft – 500 block Bingham St. – Between July 6 at 5 p.m. and July 9 at 8 a.m. – Victim reported an air conditioner stolen. Loss: $1,000.
Theft – 500 block Bingham St. – Between July 3 at 5 p.m. and July 5 at 7 a.m. – Victim reported a steel pushcart stolen. Loss: $800.
Theft from vehicle – 2600 block S. Water St. – July 14 between midnight and 11 a.m. – Two bikes stolen off a rear vehicle rack. Loss: $600.
Burglary – 1900 block E. Carson St. – July 14 at 5:58 a.m. – Officers responded to a burglar alarm. The front door was shattered. Several packs of Newport cigarettes appeared to be stolen.
Allentown (1803) / Mount Oliver (1607)
Theft from vehicle – 400 block St. Joseph St. – Between March 29 at noon and April 1 at noon – Jewelry stolen from vehicle. Loss: $2,650.
Arlington (1603)
Aggravated assault – 2400 block Charcot St. – July 15 at 5:24 p.m. – Officers responded to a man struck with a firearm. During the pursuit, officers shot suspect Dontay Green. A firearm was recovered.

Theft – 2400 block Edgar St. – Between July 8 at 6 p.m. and July 10 at 8 p.m. – Victim reported a gold necklace stolen. Loss: $650.
Theft – 2200 block Valera St. – June 11 at 8 p.m. – Victim reported a known person stole washer, stained glass windows, and damaged property. Loss: over $3,000.
Theft – 100 block Parkfield St. – Between June 28 at 3 p.m. and July 12 at 4:30 p.m. – Victim reported unauthorized purchases made with his information. Loss: over $2,000.
Robbery – 1500 block Cloverdale St. – July 13 at 11:30 p.m. – Armed robbery by a known juvenile who stole a backpack. Firearms and BB guns recovered.
Aggravated assault – 2000 block Brownsville Rd. – July 14 at 4:25 p.m. – Christopher Hornsby hit a juvenile during an argument and was arrested.
Aggravated assault – Brownsville Rd. & Parkfield St. – July 14 at 12:36 a.m. – Victim was attacked by juveniles. Treated at a hospital for injuries.
Theft – 2600 block Brownsville Rd. – July 14 between 7 p.m. and 10:09 p.m. – Known person stole an apartment key. Loss: unknown.

Aggravated assault – 200 block Reifert St. – July 9 at 3:48 p.m. – In a neighbor dispute, victim was stabbed. Suspect Darsell Smith was arrested.
Theft – 300 block Suncrest St. – Between July 6 and July 7 – Lawn mower, gas, and oil stolen. Loss: over $130.
Theft – 300 block Mathews Ave. – July 11 between 5:30 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. – Black 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan (PA plate JXM 0844) stolen.
Theft from vehicle – 300 block Arabella St. – Between July 11 at 11 p.m. and July 12 at 7 a.m. – Vehicle entered; contents rummaged.
Theft from vehicle – 200 block Charles St. – Between July 12 at 8 a.m. and July 14 at 5 p.m. – License plate (PA KLM 0954) stolen.
Aggravated assault – 300 block Brownsville Rd. – July 14 at 10:15 p.m. – Mt. Oliver Police responded to gunshots. Victim found shot in leg.
