Artist Lucas Stock explains the elements in the final mural design that will appear on the front of the Caliguiri High Rise in Allentown. The Sprout Fund mural will feature images from Allentown’s past on the sides, with an old trolley climbing Arlington Avenue in the center. The mural also includes a river and mountains in the background to add brightness to the piece.
Mr. Stock hopes to begin the mural in the next week and finish by the end of September. The mural is a joint effort between the Allentown Community Development Corp., the Pittsburgh Housing Authority, and area residents.
